The Role:
Cooks at Curtin Springs are responsible for the day to day delivery and management of the kitchen for staff and customer meals, across the different customer bases, in a way that enhances the customer's experience, provides a profitable turnover of meals, with meals prepared on time, in compliance with food handling and WHS requirements and without inappropriate wastage.
The position has responsibility for understanding, complying with and personally completing structured cleaning schedules.
This position covers other kitchen positions as required for days off, holidays and other structured breaks. The position also has a responsibility to support wider business responsibilities as required.
The position is based at Curtin Springs, Lasseter Highway, NT and employment may be available for a partner
The position has a pay range of $80,000-$85000 + super

Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum of Cert III (Australian recognised) in Commercial Cookery Substantial experience, as a commercial cook, in different kitchen settings, meeting different customer needs
Exceptional hygiene and food handling skills
Exceptional personal pride in your work, to do an excellent job and provide a great service to customers AND the business
Understand and deliver the responsibilities of the position, follow directions, and achieve specific outcomes in specific timeframes.
Must accredited RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certificates
Driver's license preferred
Demonstrated ability to prepare menus, prepare meals, portion control, high level food handling skills
Ability to train other staff as required
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
