About the Role:
Looking for a qualified carpenter to join an amazing team located near Brooklyn Park.
This group focus in mainly maintenance construction and work across a variety industries such as Government, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Healthcare and Education.
Duties:
- Understanding the construction drawings and scope of works.
- Pre-planning materials required prior to commencement of the project.
-Bringing the appropriate work tools to site; using them correctly and safely at all times.
- Use stock and assets in accordance with the relevant policy and procedure.
- Effectively carrying out carpentry duties in accordance with construction drawings and scope of works, trade schedules and industry legislation and regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- Mixture of residential and commercial experience (desirable)
- Extensive experience work with carpenter's tools of the trade.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised, with minimal guidance.
- Able to take direction.
- Professional in approach.
- Ability to act with initiative and be prepared for any situation.
- Excellent work quality.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or similar.
-Asbestos Awareness (desirable).
- Confined Spaces (desirable).
- White Card.
- Have access to full and reliable tool kit inclusive of own work vehicle.
- Maintain a full Australian Driver's Licence.
- Maintain a clean Police and Working with Children record.
- Fully COVID Vaccinated (2 doses and booster).
-Annual Flu Vaccination.
