This excellent Catholic school located in the heart of Western Sydney are seeking a Technology and Applied Sciences Teacher (TAS) to join their team asap. This role would be fixed contract for 2024 and permanent offered for the right candidate. As a TAS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to explore the practical applications of technology and design within the framework of Catholic teachings. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students in a positive and enriching educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the TAS curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills.
Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's community spirit.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Experience teaching Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) subjects at the secondary level.
A commitment to the Catholic ethos and values, contributing to the spiritual and moral development of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school community.
