THE ROLE
The primary purpose of a Forklift Driver is to operate a forklift to move bulk materials, crates, cartons and bales in our warehouse. More specifically, his tasks & responsibilities will include unloading materials and merchandise & stack them to assigned places, locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates, identify damages and report shortages.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
High Risk License in Forklift
Knowledge and experience of applicable standards and legislation for dangerous goods handling and storage awareness
Formal qualifications (Cert III, IV or Diploma) in Warehousing Operations (desired)
Computer/IT literate - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Leadership experience
Ability to work well within a small team environment
Well-developed communication skills
Experience using SAP
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
This is a full-time position offering a generous salary between $90,000-$100,000 including superannuation to the right candidate (depending on experience).
