About the School:
An exciting opportunity awaits for dedicated Primary teachers to become part of an F-6 school in Wyndham Vale, situated in Melbourne's West, in a full time, ongoing position. This position is focused on instructing within middle/upper primary, and is encouraging of new graduates, those with permission to teach, as well as experienced educators. Benefits & Culture:

Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum
Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.
Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.
Skills & Experience:
Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration or be eligible to apply
Demonstrate previous experience in Primary teaching/placement
Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
