Reporting to the Hulling and Shelling Production Manager, you will be accountable for optimizing all available resources and maximising the efficiency of the plant. Supervising a shift, you will be actively involved in maintaining and improving safety standards and maximising and maintaining product quality. You will be expected to be hands on while supporting the Hulling and Shelling Manager with regards to integrated risk management systems (Food Safety, Quality, WH&S and Environment) and continual improvement.
This role is located at our Processing Plant in Carwarp VIC 3494.

At a minimum you will possess:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising teams
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
* Experience in the maintenance of manufacturing plants
* Coordinating rosters
* Current drivers licence
* Current forklift license
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Almond hull and shelling experience would be ideal, as will previous experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry. Formal trade qualifications and engineering or maintenance related experience is also preferred. Prior experience in continual Improvement and BRC systems will also be highly regarded.
