Full Time Traffic and Transport Engineer

SALARY $72,000 - $80,000 + SUPERANNUATION
DUTIES:
• Assist with preparation of project fee proposals and scope of works.
• Liaise with project teams, councils and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for completion of technical tasks in a timely manner.
• Monitor resources, budgets and deadlines.
• Prepare complex traffic engineering and transport planning reports, including expert witness reports as required.
• Prepare complex traffic management plans for construction, events, and land use planning purposes as required.
• Assist with the training and professional development of staff.
• Develop and grow client relationships, target repeat work and brand building activities.
• Assist with achieving the company’s overall corporate objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or suitable related discipline, or equivalent.
• 2 years Full-time industry experience.
• Solid understanding of traffic engineering principles, transportation planning concepts, and relevant regulations and standards.
• Experience in MS Office applications, including intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
• Experience in industry-specific softwares, i.e. MicroStation, AutoTURN, GuideSIGN and SIDRA.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical skills.
Experience required:
- Experience in construction traffic management.
- Experience in safety barrier systems installation.
