Overview:This role is responsible for ensuring the ongoing system and procedural compliance and governance of the departments production, superannuation, taxation, reconciliation, disbursements and systems configuration. Key Accountabilities:Provide operational and strategic leadership to maintain a culture or teamwork, achievement, accountability with an outcomes-based focus.Ensuring the accuracy of fortnightly payrolls, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Preparing and maintaining important payroll reports including the preparation of salary advice and single touch payroll.Develop, implement and manage the payroll risk and governance framework to ensure payroll is run without creating areas of exposure from a workforce and governing bodies perspective.Provide expert payroll, super and tax advice to stakeholders and senior management.Establish and monitor whether effective systems for internal control are implemented across the payroll and income protection functions and determining the extent to which these controls have been complied with as part of ongoing management and monitoring of payroll expenditure.Lead the development of change management involving…
