About the role The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Clinical Nurse role functions within the multi-disciplinary to promote and deliver efficient, effective, clinically relevant, culturally safe and appropriate patient outcomes. The Clinical Nurse will provide expert clinical and health service knowledge in relation to a variety of health conditions and have a co-designed approach through community engagement to the development of policy, procedures and work process specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients accessing outpatient services across Metro North. The Clinical Nurse will apply principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/person focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management.
