RIVERLAND HOSPITALITY PTY LTD, responsible for the Gold Coast most prestigious hospitality venues has an exciting opportunity for a full time Hotel Manager for our Boutique hotel located in Surfers Paradise - The Island Hotel.
Tasks Include:
? Oversee routine operations, including front desk, housekeeping, managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the physical facilities.
? Train staff members, including front desk clerks, housekeepers, food & beverage team, maintenance workers and administrative staff.
? Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model.
? Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits.
? Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services.
? Addressing guest complaints and concerns, monitoring guest feedback and implementing changes to improve customer satisfaction.
? Planning and implementing capital improvements to the hotel, such as renovations, upgrades or expansions.
? Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
? Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards.
? Create a memorable customer experience by delivering on guest expectations while exceeding them.
Requirements and skills:
? A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a hotel manager, hotel operations manager or a similar role.
? Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in hospitality management or a related field.
? Multilingual skills (speaking, reading, and writing) in French, German and/or Mandarin Chinese are an advantage.
? Strong leadership skills, problem-solving understanding, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Skills:
? Computer literate and fluent with time and attendance systems.
? Work with and communicate effectively within a team environment.
? Excellent attention to detail.
? Highly motivated personality.
? Great communication and customer service skills.
? Well, presented.
? Great Presentation and attention to detail.
The right candidate will be remunerated in accordance with their experience, between $70,000 and $72 500 plus superannuation.
