Full time Mechanical Engineer

Duties:

• Develop the technical documents for production process.
• Read, interpret and generate computer-generated reports.
• Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement Quality Assurance procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
• Research and analyse data to evaluate the feasibility and cost for raw materials.
• Research, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Investigate process failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and processes in the Quality Assurance process.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor the Quality Assurance aspects of production, including a selection of operation and process for production team.
• Perform personnel functions such as supervision of completed products and design of cost-effective package selection.
• Review and action of engineering change management requests associated with modifications of project: -Injection molding.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the relevant standards, specifications, procedures, and drawing.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance to engineering standards, statutory regulations, and risk management standards.
• Manage the supply of consumables and materials.
• Analyse and record data to obtain production efficiency reports such as DIFOT, material flow, and warehouse stock levels.
• Manage the ERP system (Fishbowl, Trello) and troubleshoot to resolve the issues.
• Manage and monitor the completion of the project to ensure program, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved.

Skills and Experience
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (Mechanical Engineering (4+0))
(Washington accord University degrees)
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience
• Advanced skills in ERP, Scheduling, procurement and cost control knowledge preferable
• Experience in Engineering Plastic is essential. Injection Molding
• Mechanical engineering designing and tool room experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and Regulations relating to
Mechanical engineering
• Ability to read and understand plans and drawings in imperial and metric measurements.
• Ability to use MS office Suits.
• Ability to adapt and progress with sudden software implementation stages.
