We are currently seeking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.


About the role

Reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this position is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities for Tennis Australia, working with the wider finance team to develop and deliver best practice FP&A function. This role will help analyse month end reporting processes, budget and forecasting processes, complete other mandatory reporting requirements and perform other ad hoc tasks as required. In this role you will:

- Assist with development and maintenance of monthly reports, including commentary, as well as quarterly and annual reports with ad-hoc - analysis.
- Assist set up of the budget model and advise on improvements, preparation of the organisations budget as well as supporting maintenance of a forecast model.
- Support the systems strategy for optimal process and analytical capability including maintenance of the planning tool and optimisation of the ERP system.
- Contribute and lead projects to drive improved decision making whilst being a key owner of the reporting tools and systems and providing an ongoing focus to uplift internal capabilities.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting tasks as required
- Effectively partner with key stakeholders across the TA business

About you

What you will bring to the role:

- Experience from professional services or a large complex organisation is preferred.
- Financial modelling and excel skills with strong experience utilising systems and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and successful implementation.
- Appropriate qualifications (or working towards) including a degree and being a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant
- Alignment with the TA Values of: Excellence, Humility, Loyalty and Teamwork
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
