About us:
The Little Bookworm offers speech pathology services to children aged 1 – 12 years of age with a variety of developmental needs. We have a lovely clinic based in Forest Hill with five speech pathologists and two furry colleagues (dogs - Audrey and Henry). We offer clinic, school, home and childcare visits. We work with children requiring support with speech, language, literacy, play, fluency and social pragmatic needs. We offer a positive, supportive work environment with a low staff turnover and great work culture!
About the role:
We have a full time and part-time position available!
We are searching for someone who relates well to children of all abilities, engages them with ease and can have fun with them whilst learning.
In this role, you will be expected to provide both clinic, school and childcare-based services. You will provide assessments and therapy to children with autism, developmental language disorder, literacy difficulties, speech sound disorders and cognitive difficulties. Experience working with children with literacy difficulties (reading, writing, spelling, phonemic awareness) is desirable but not essential.
Speech pathologists with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply (minimum 1 year of clinical experience).
