Teddy Co Funland Pty Ltd currently have a vacancy for the position of Finance Manager. The position is based from our head office in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• In consultation with company director, the finance manager determines, implements, monitors, reviews and evaluates company budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans;
• Supply company director with analysis of financial information, including interpretation of the implications for company performance and ongoing funding needs;
• Coordinate monitoring of corporate accounting systems, including ongoing development and implementation of new systems as required;
• Direct preparation of corporate financial reports detailing and forecasting the company's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets and undertake analysis of future corporate earnings and income;
• Evaluate the financial status of operational company projects and recommend capital finance proposals to company director;
• Counsel company director on potential investment strategies, available funding sources and the considerations on distribution of financial earnings;
• Engage in long range profit forecasting and ensure ongoing reporting on budgeting and financial matters to company director;
• Ensure corporate compliance with relevant financial legislation and standards.
Key skills and experience required:
• Relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification;
• Minimum two years of demonstrated work experience as a Finance Manager;
• Demonstrated experience with operation of the children’s toy industry in Australia;
• Proficiency in the English language;
• Excellent communication – both written and verbal;
• Strong understanding of work, health and safety procedures.
We currently have a Finance Manager vacancy in our company. The salary level on offer for the position is $90,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.
