Due to recent movement within our Front Office department, we have an opportunity for a Night Manager to join our Front Office management team, reporting directly to our Front Office Manager.
This is a full-time position where you will be required to cover our overnight shifts working between 11pm till 7am, 5 days per week.
You will be based on the front reception and will be responsible for cross checking and balancing work completed during the day by all outlets. You will ensure the highest level of customer service and professionalism is offered at all times whilst maintaining accuracy and guest confidentiality.
A proactive attitude that translates to a high-performance mind set and an outstanding attention to detail is required for the role and you will have the opportunity to work within a small but awesome Novotel on Newcastle Beach.
What you will be doing:
- Hold responsibility and accountability for the efficient operations of the Hotel on the overnight shift.
- Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
- Prepare briefing sheets for all staff, informing them of daily activities, group and VIP arrivals, as well as special requests.
- Check accommodation, making sure special requests are carried out accordingly.
- Be the first point of contact for all of our guests.
- Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
