Randstad Defence is currently working with a global defence company that provides solutions to mission critical environments in defence. Due to the growth in their business, they are seeking experienced Systems engineers with a background in Information and communication systems. In this role, you will be working alongside experienced systems engineers and project managers on complex integration projects, and be a part of creating advanced products to ensure safer technology for the Australian skies.
You must be an Australian Citizen, eligible for a defence security clearance.
As a Systems Engineer, your duties will include:
Perform systems engineering activities such as requirements gathering, system design, verification and validation, and testing and evaluation.
Provide systems integration expertise related to servers and ICT systems.
Create technical systems engineering documents to support various projects for the company.
Perform systems integration, instalment and testing.
Assist with other project requirements and operational customer support as needed.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer science, Software or related discipline.
5 plus years experience working with complex ICT or communication systems in a project environment.
Knowledge of systems engineering processes within defence.
Experience in creation of system/subsystem specification artefacts.
Experience configuring and managing virtual and physical networks.
