The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk and guest services operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for hotel guests.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Staff Management, Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff.
• Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure excellent customer service.
• Reservations and Room Assignments, Oversee room reservations, availability, and pricing strategies.
• Assign rooms and manage room inventory efficiently.
• Financial Management, Monitor and manage daily financial transactions, including billing, payment processing, and cash handling.
• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to revenue, occupancy, and other key performance indicators.
• Quality Control and Maintenance, Ensure cleanliness and functionality of the front desk area.
• Implement security and safety protocols, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
Essential skills and experience:
• Strong staff management and supervisory skills
• A great understanding of customer service in retail and hospitality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Cash handling skills.
• Competency with stock management and stock take procedures.
Required:
• At least 2 years relevant working experience
• At least Diploma level, relevant field is preferred.
Salary: $75,000.00 per annum.
