Panelbeaters (multiple positions)
MPSR Group Pty Ltd, a busy state of the art workshop is seeking experienced trade qualified panel beaters (multiple positions) to join a dynamic team. These full-time positions are located in Marrickville NSW.
Position Details:
The panel beater position will include these key tasks:
• Assessing and estimating the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, or customisation requests.
• Planning, organising, and scheduling the workflow of assigned vehicles
• Removing damaged panels and parts, and removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
• Straightening, removing dents and aligning car frames and unibodies by hammering and other techniques.
• Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
• Filling depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces, and spray-painting panels where required.
• Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
• Fitting repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refitting body hardware such as door locks and trims
• Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Minimum qualifications AQF Certificate III or relevant experience
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Proven experience working on all types of vehicles, performing a variety of tasks and plastic body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle panels.
• An ability to work in a team environment
Remuneration
Remuneration ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 depending on skill level and industry experience and reflects current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
