Plant Mechanic Posted Date:  13 Mar 2024 Location:  Tomago, NSW, AU Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Plant Mechanics/Heavy Vehicle Mechanics/Fitters to be based at Tomago in our General Workshop. We have several opportunities available in our New Machines section. As the successful applicant you will complete new machine builds to customer specifications on a range of CAT equipment including the below:  301.5–395 excavators 773–795 off-highway trucks 775 - 789 water carts 140-24 graders CS2.7 – CS68 rollers D5 - D11 Dozers 930 - 994 loaders MD6200, MD6250, and MD6310 Drills  What we're looking for   Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience Familiarity with Caterpillar surface mining equipment or similar (desirable) Experience new machine assembly (desirable)  Demonstrated commitment to safety  Close attention to detail and ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards Rosters and Remuneration   Roster pattern: 2 weeks of days, followed by 2 weeks of nights Full time, permanent…
