As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, specifications and construction drawings to execute high-quality carpentry work. The role requires a mature and enthusiastic work attitude and should have a commitment for long-term employment. BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities for the role • Study and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and specifications to understand project requirements • Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to clarify any uncertainties and ensure accurate execution of carpentry tasks • Select appropriate materials for each project, considering factors such as durability, cost and aesthetic appeal • Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, finishing, cabinetry and installation of doors and windows • Execute precise joinery, molding and trim work to achieve high quality finishes • Operate a range of carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, drills and routers • Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications • Make necessary adjustments and corrections to achieve perfection in the final product Qualification & Experience The Experience: • Previous hands on carpentry experience • Good mathematical and literacy skills • Ability to work unsupervised • Excellent communication, presentation, and punctuality • Fit, enthusiastic, and keen to be part of a progressive company Essential Criteria: • Relevant trade qualification (at least Cert III) OR at least 3 years work experience in lieu of formal qualifications • Demonstrated skills in handling of a range of carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, drills and routers • Able to work unsupervised • Ability to work under pressure • Must have a current driver licence Preferred but not essential: • Owns a vehicle • Owns tools and equipment • Current driver licence Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience plus Super Job Type: Full-time Salary: $70000-75000 Job Publish: 13-03-2024 Job Expire: 12-04-2024 Please click to View more detail / apply .
