Agricultural Maintenance Officer-Welder-Metal Fabricator [ Pinnaroo, SA]

Our client is one of the largest family farming groups in South Australia and New South Wales. They are currently on the lookout for multiple experienced Welder-Metal Fabricator to join their successful team in South Australia. The role will include assisting the workshop with metal fabrication repairs.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Welder-Metal Fabricator is responsible for manufacture and repair work on metal products and structuresKey responsibilities include:• Ensure reactive and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met in accordance with maintenance schedules• Performing repairs and replace defective worn or metal parts• Study blueprints/drawings and specifications for each job• Dismantling and removing components, and checking parts• Select, cut, clean and prepare metal for fabrication• Mark out metal sections and cut using appropriate tooling• Align joins, join metal sections using welding techniques, bolting and riveting• Examine welds and clean, polish, file and acid bathing for finish• Smooth and grind welds as appropriateQualifications required:• Experience within a similar role•…
