ROLE OVERVIEW
The Investment Partnerships Manager role is a critical role in the Partnerships team, with responsibility for managing the implementation planning and buying process for their assigned clients. This responsibility includes but is not limited to optimal media partner selection through thorough evaluation and rationale, negotiating campaigns, checking preliminary and final post buy delivery, tracking performance and ensuring delivery on campaign objectives. The Investment Partnerships Manager assists the Director with the management of the Partnerships team – developing skills, evaluating performance, setting standards and managing growth.
As the front line face of Initiative’s relationship with media partners, the Partnerships team are responsible for ensuring all media owners are treated as true partners, with the respect and professionalism we expect from across our business. The Investment Partnerships Manager should guide our partners to embrace the belief that cultural experiences grow brands and to encourage our partners to deliver the best thinking in their responses to our briefs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES
Responds to all client requests in a timely and accurate manner
Collaborates with Client Advice & Management team to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPI’s
Communicates client and product progress effectively to the team and craft leads
Prepare e-mails, recommendations, buy presentations and presentations to internal teams and clients
Developing excellent presentations skills internally and to all levels in the client organisation
Prepares POVs for targeted opportunities on an on-going basis for clients to further drive their business
Fosters knowledge of client’s business and its competitors to determine sufficient advertising and media needs and ensure plans are properly executed and delivered
Displays ownership of the entire implementation process (media planning and buying) from start to finish within the team, championing deadlines both internally and externally for client base.
Demonstrates expertise in implementation planning and buying across all channels and multiple categories
Manages the Partnerships team (Senior Executives, Executive, Associates) in the day-to-day activities for assigned clients, reviewing work for accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Provide senior-level guidance and review schedules, research, POV’s and client presentations to ensure quality product and client-readiness
QUALIFICATIONS
Tenure guideline: 5+ years of media agency planning and buying experience
Proven leadership ability and/or prior experience in supervising a team preferred
Excellent knowledge and understanding of Australian media marketplace including the role of each media, understanding key media companies and their ability to deliver on campaign requirements
Developing leadership of the implementation planning process for clients, including planning responsibilities through to optimisations, invoicing and final post delivery
Demonstrated ability to think and execute “out of the box” ideas
Exceptional media sales relationships at GSM level and developing rapport with Sales Directors to deliver competitive advantage to our clients
Advanced user across all core investment media systems and planning tools
Salary range between $70,000 and $90,000 including superannuation.
