Volunteer opportunities include supporting our allied health therapy teams working with children and adults, supporting our Lifestyles, sports and accommodation clients, or gaining experience in our corporate services. 

Details of the role:

The Power Mobility Intensive is an opportunity for clients to trial and develop their mobility skills in a power chair. Volunteers will work with our therapy team to support our clients in developing their mobility skills in a power wheelchair. This volunteering opportunity would suit an Occupational Therapy student or a Physiotherapy student.

Dates & Times:

Dates: Monday 15/04/2024 - Friday 19/04/2024

Times: 9am - 3:30pm

Location: The Stuart Centre, Croudace Bay  

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the set up and pack up of the days events.

  • Supporting the OT team in supporting the clients navigating the activities and courses through out the day. (obstacle courses etc)

  • Observing and liasing with the clients and their families.

Role requirements: 

  • 16 years and above 

  • NDIS Worker Screening 

  • Working with Children Check (NSW)
