Opportunity to join a leading financial services organisation in a senior credit risk role within project finance. This leading financial services organisation is currently recruiting a Director or Associate Director their Sydney team. The role will be responsible for structuring and analysing corporate / institutional project finance deals as well as leading and developing a team. The successful candidate must have experience analysing and structuring complex, large scale loans and presenting to credit committees.
Responsibilities
Manage exposures for a portfolio of institutional and corporate clients in a proactive manner;
Provide risk assessment perspectives on new transactions as well as existing clients and industries.
Keep track of market and industry trends, as well as their implications for clients.
Assist with monitoring of projects and identifying risks
Interact with key stakeholders, such as clients and origination team.
Assist the team with ad hoc initiatives and workstreams that arise on a regular basis.
Requirements
10 years + experience in corporate / institutional Credit, ideally within Project Finance
Proven ability to build, develop and maintain client relationships
Strong understanding of project / structured finance
Excellent communication skills, and stakeholder relationship skills
Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial statements for credit assessment
Tertiary qualifications in a related field (finance, accounting, commerce, banking or similar)
