Duties & Responsibilities:
1-2 full-time Cooks are required at Gulliver’s Tavern in Kununurra, Western Australia, to organise, prepare, and cook food in our Bistro kitchen.
• Order ingredients
• Prepare and cook meals and snacks.
• Plate up meals.
• Assist with menu planning.
• Manage consumables in the kitchen.
• Work together with management, kitchen and waiting staff.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene practices and comply with OHS standards.
• Assist with training of kitchen hands, bar attendants and waiting staff.
• Other general kitchen and bistro duties as required.
Essential:
• At least 1 year of recent full-time work experience.
• Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a suitable work visa.
• Be able to work weekends and nights on a roster system.
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Professional attitude.
• Excellent food handling skills.
• Safety knowledge and skills.
• Good level of English language.
Desired:
• Qualification in cooking or similar.
• Experience working in remote areas.
• RSA.
• Police Check.

• Gullivers Tavern is located within the Kimberley DAMA area. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidates.
