About the Role
Your main job will be to supervise daily upkeep and perform necessary repairs on various types of machinery and equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
Daily tasks will include:
• Management of maintenance, service & repair of plant & machinery.
• Ensuring all water facilities, including solar pumps, troughs, pipelines, tanks & effluent irrigation equipment, are well maintained.
• Maintaining workshop tools & equipment inventory.
• Collaborating & maintaining open communication with the team.
Environmental sustainability and safety are at the core of Macorna Pastoral’s operations, so your commitment to following Work Health & Safety policies and procedures, correct storage of parts, fuel, and oils, and keeping a tidy workspace will be pivotal to your role.
You’ll Need:
• A recognised Trades Certificate, ideally in welding, fabrication, or mechanical is highly advantageous.
• A current Driver's Licence is essential.
• Experience in a similar hands-on maintenance role is necessary.
• Proficient in machinery troubleshooting and repair is required.
• You should come equipped with advanced fabrication skills and significant previous experience operating tractors or machinery.
• Proven ability to work individually, adhere to plans, and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail are a must.

We're seeking someone who can work closely with both senior management and co-workers, maintaining clear and open communication.
