Children's Choice Early Education Centre is a long day care centre which is family owned and operated. We are dedicated to providing quality child care, interactive learning and memorable experiences. We are looking for an ECT who is a motivated and passionate early childhood teacher to inspire and be part of our friendly team. This early childhood teacher position will be working in our preschool/kindergarten room with our team of educators at Our Heritage Park Centre in Queensland.
Responsibilities of this role:
• Will be required to implement a dynamic, exciting program reflecting each child's individual interests and maintaining the children's developmental records to a high standard, as well as ensuring the care you provide to the children is of the highest quality.
• Hold a current blue card or equivalent suitability card
• Hold a current first aid/ CPR certificate
• Create friendly caring and active learning environment
• Committed to providing the highest quality of care
• Ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained
Requirements of this role:
• Fully qualified teacher with a 4 year degree in Early Childhood or
• Primary Education/ Secondary Education + teacher registration + Certificate 3 in Early Childhood. (check Recognition as an ‘equivalent early childhood teacher’ ACECQA)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in delivering the Qld Kindergarten curriculum would be desirable but not necessary
• Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
• A friendly, professional and enthusiastic person
• A strong understanding of: National Quality Framework (NQF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) would be desirable
