Job DescriptionGeneral/Position SummaryThe International Patient Engagement Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s patient engagement initiatives in Australia and New ZealandAn externally facing role that works cross-functionally with communications, government affairs, market access and medical affairs. This role helps lead the company’s ongoing efforts to build and sustain meaningful relationships and collaborate to support the needs of patients.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesServes as liaison between the patient community and Vertex; developing relationships with patient advocacy groups to bring value to patients.Builds long-term, sustainable relationships with CF patient groups and the rare disease community. Maintains ongoing two-way dialogue with patient advocacy groups to understand priorities and opportunities for collaboration and support.Ensures timely, appropriate, and approved communication with the patient community about the company and our position on key issues.Supports patient-related projects and represents the voice of the patient community in internal meetings.Engages at patient groups organized events e.g., patient days, meetings.Together with the internal teams, engage…
