A global manufacturing leader are currently seeking a passionate and experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their team in Western Sydney. This is a permanent opportunity offering an immediate start.
Your new role This newly created role will be responsible for providing HSEQ assistance and advice to our teams on the ground, collaborating with Site Operations Managers and team members to ensure health, safety, environment and quality risks are mitigated and drive continuous improvement in HSEQ performance. Key areas of focus for this position include partnering with operations managers to implement requirements in accordance with legislation, audit protocols, injury management, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO 9001 and business needs to minimise non-compliance.
Foster and promote a positive HSEQ culture and safe working behaviours
Provide HSEQ advice and support to site operational teams
Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System
Conduct HSEQ training including inductions for new starters
Work with site teams to carry out HSEQ risk assessments, maintain risk registers and develop and implement SOPs
Manage contractors and ensure compliance to legislative requirements at all times
Support sites to conduct HSEQ incident investigations to determine root causes, contributing factors and corrective actions and communicate key learnings
Work with the Quality Manager to implement the quality SOPs by conducting the quality check/testing as required and maintain records
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualification or minimum Certificate IV in WHS required
Current and valid driving licence
Working understanding of National Health, Safety and Environment legislation and quality audit processes
WHS Management System experience
