Adarsh Australia is a leading manufacturer of custom metal and plastic components in Perth, Western Australia.
With over 25 years of experience, dependable customer service and quality products, Adarsh Australia is the preferred manufacturer for Perth and multinational companies.

We are currently seeking a qualified CNC machinist (Metal Machinist – First Class) for a full-time role as a result of our continued growth. The role primarily involves programming, setting and operating Okuma CNC machines.

Skills & Experience:
• Trade qualified machinist to the level of at least a Certificate III.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (post apprenticeship).
• CNC machining experience, Okuma preferred (setting, operating and programming)
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work unsupervised but also be a team player.
• Technical knowledge as a CNC machinist with an understanding of and experience of SolidWorks/SolidCAM.
• Clear understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude.

Reliable and secure, full-time position with a long-established local manufacturing company.
$75,000 to $85,000 per year. Overtime hours are available.

Afternoon shift also available if desirable.

The role is based in Malaga, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with multiple CNC machines (milling centres and/or lathes) to successfully produce the desired metal or plastic product.
• Interfacing with various team members to achieve the desired outcomes as outlined by senior management.
• Setting up and operating multiple CNC machines.
• Selection of best tool and manufacturing method for application.
• Verifying components to the manufacturing specifications and tolerances (QC).
• Reading and understanding technical/manufacturing/engineering drawings & specifications.
• Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
