FULL TIME POSITION
38 HOURS PER WEEK
JOB TITLE - HORSE TRAINER
Ballodair Park is looking for an experienced horse trainer to join the team as assistant to our manager.
This position requires maturity, commitment, and demonstrable experience in the areas of handling young horses from foaling to saddle preparation.
Training young horses to compete in dressage, show jumping and cross-country jumping; working on the ground lunging and long-reining; operation and supervision of a horse walker; competing in the three Olympic disciplines as well as show riding.
Basic veterinary care including needles; and management of staff.
Competition work will be both local and interstate, and will require some absences, so the freedom to travel without restriction is essential.
This position comes with a salary of $70,000 plus Super and includes regular training with local and international coaches.
