Looking for a fulfilling opportunity to support the mental health of young people? headspace Lilydale are seeking an Allied Health Practitioner in the mental health field, to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our clinical services, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality and flexible mental health interventions to young individuals aged 12-25, as well as support for their families.
As an approved Allied Health Practitioner under the Better Access to Mental Health initiative, you will:
- Manage a case load of clients under the Medicare Better Access Scheme
- Conduct thorough assessments, formulate effective treatment plans, and actively monitor progress
- Complete risk assessments, safety plans, and mental state examinations where necessary
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate referrals and case coordination as required
Additionally, your commitment to continuous professional development and participation in training and secondary consultation will contribute to the ongoing growth of our services.
