Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake cleaning of the interior and exterior of aircraft
- Assist engineers with ground handing activities, such as:
- Towing and repositioning aircraft
- Wing walk and clearance when aircraft are being move
- Connect and disconnect of GPUs and air-conditioning units
- Compressor washing engines
- Liaise with external suppliers in relation to vehicle and facilities repairs and maintenance
- Ground Servicing Equipment inspections and raising Repair orders
- General upkeep and housekeeping at the base
- Assist engineers on aircraft checks removing panels etc
- Ad hoc general duties to support the smooth running of the Cairns base.
