About Your Role: Senior Industrial Project Manager


Join us as a Senior Industrial Project Manager at the forefront of innovation in the Rydalmere Industrial Competency Centre. Lead and manage supply chain, industrialisation, and production elements of bids and projects, delivering world leading sonar technologies, to both the Australian and leading nations’ navies.  Strategically develop competitive supply chain solutions. Exceed project objectives in cost, time, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage industrialisation projects to meet business objectives.
  • Develop supply chain strategies supporting manufacturing goals.
  • Coordinate across Industrial, Supply Chain, Design and Project Management functions.
  • Monitor project execution and control.
  • Support bid activities.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communications.
  • Coordinate input from suppliers and partners.
  • Prepare internal and customer reports.
  • Conduct gate reviews and improve project management.
  • Enhance customer experience.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced in bringing new products to market through establishment of the associated supply chain and production/manufacturing capabilities.
  • Delivery experience in projects valued over $10M AUD.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in complex mission systems design and delivery.
  • 5 years’ experience in supply chain and production management.
  • 5 years’ experience in senior bid and project management.
  • Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in diverse and international environments.
  • Experience with complex Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and make effective decisions.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in leading complex bids and projects across geographies and time zones. 
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • IPMA Certification or ability to secure certification.
  • Experience with Defence ASDEFCON procurement.
