Roles & Responsibilities:
Our client is a mobile speech pathology practice that services all of Metropolitan Melbourne and Geelong. We value excellence as the standard and think outside the box to achieve holistic client centred goals. They work with clients from ages 7 up to and including aged care in order to increase their functional participation and quality of life through evidence based practice and positive passion.
The role will require you to:
Engage and deliver excellent speech pathology services to a diverse caseload, from ages 7 up to and including aged care.
Conduct speech pathology in the comfort of the client's own home or preferred environment in order to align with the ICF framework and achieve functional goals.
Engage with clients with a variety of diagnosis and presentations under the NDIS and other government funding schemes. This includes: dysphagia, functional communication, speech and language and other language disorders.
Engage in regular supervision sessions, mentoring and reporting sessions in order to continually and consistently feel supported while enhancing your clinical growth and expertise.
Regularly evaluate progress and outcomes, using relevant clinical assessments.
Participating in regular team meetings to discuss outcomes with clients, family members and key stakeholders.
Prepare accurate and timely reports that aide future planning, budgeting and recommended strategies.
Engaging in regular group and partnered case studies in order to continually build and develop your clinical expertise.
