Job title: Occupational Therapist wanted in Darwin, NT - Relocation Assistance Provided

Working Hours: Full Time, 38hrs/week

Salary: Competitive salary (professional level 2 or 3 dependant on level of experience)

Our client provides Disability and Therapy Services for children, adolescents and adults, through Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation, Pathways Program and Allied Health therapy programs (including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychology). They employ evidence-based practice, with research driving continual innovation and growth. Staff have access to comprehensive training and skill development as well as regular upskilling opportunities and ongoing specialist disability training.

Duties include:


Working in a culturally diverse environment, provide contemporary, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, individualised treatment planning and evaluation for adolescents and adults presenting with a range of conditions, syndromes, and mental health concerns
Support with transition and ongoing treatment planning for clients with disability discharged from hospital into medium term accommodation.
Provide independent, specialistand clinical input into treatment planning,development, and delivery of core business Ensure billable Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are met each month
Maintain professional internal and external stakeholder communication
Contribute to the development of individual and group programs within Carpentaria Therapy Services
Ability to implement WHS, Risk Management and Quality assurance requirements
Attendance and contributions to team and organisationalmeetings
Adherence to Australian Health Practitioners RegistrationAuthority (AHPRA) and the company’s policies and procedures


 

Essential Criteria:
Not limited to but before you apply, we need you to have


Undergraduate (or postgraduate) qualifications ni Occupational Therapy
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Relevant experience working as an OccupationalTherapist or graduate experience with having completed a relevant placement
Demonstrated undergraduate clinical experience in best practice management of Adult Occupational Therapy, AssessmentTherapy, assistive technology prescription and training environmental modification.
Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) clients and their families
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Commitment to working with people with and supporting people with a disability
Ability to work as part o fa team and independently
Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Chec Apply Now
