We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ammonia / Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of, Refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial properties.
This position will also have the ability (for the right candidate) to become our Industrial Project Manager.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
A typical day in the life of an Ammonia / Refrigeration Service Technician might include:
Diagnosing and repairing Industrial Refrigeration
Rebuilds of Compressors
Troubleshooting mechanical failures
Performing equipment maintenance and routine rebuilds
Advising on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units
Maintaining good working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Refrigerant Handling License
Restricted Electrical License
QBCC
Valid Red/White Safety Induction Card
3+ years of experience in the commercial refrigeration field
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong technical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
