Space Cooling is a business based in Perth Western Australia with a wealth of experience within the Refrigeration and HVAC industry.
We are looking or a full - time employee with min 2 yrs. experience in a similar role with an ability to work independently within existing protocols.
Salary is negotiable upon the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
Expected salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
The job duties are as follow:
1.Installing, troubleshooting and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
2.Measuring refrigeration or air conditioning components for installation by laying out reference points
3.Follow plans and specifications to install, commission, service and maintain equipment.
4. Working with hand and power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gauges and so on
5. Measuring and cutting piping, and connecting piping using welding equipment
6.Testing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems for leaks
7. Performing routine maintenance
8. Repairing and replacing components for entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
9. Preparing work estimates Reading and interpreting blueprints
10.Drill holes, install mounting brackets and cut, bend and join piping.
11. Install and connect piping to refrigeration systems.
12. Check that parts are installed, lined up and fit properly.
13. Test systems for leaks and then fill them with refrigerant according to relevant standards and regulations.
14. Test refrigeration and air handling units and make adjustments to ensure they work correctly.
15. Use computers to monitor systems and remotely adjust the operation of all equipment in a given building.
16. Install, repair, maintain, and test refrigeration and freezer equipment as per engineering drawings and specifications.
17. Establish container modifications and repair requirements from technical drawings.
18. Ensuring repairs are done to high quality standard and in timely manner.
19. Carrying out test operations and recording malfunctions.
20. Disassembling and reassembling air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
21. Diagnosis & repairs of split and ducted units
22. Servicing including fault finding and maintenance of various refrigeration systems.
