Principal Advisor, Transport and Main Roads

This role supports TMR to deliver an integrated, resilient, and safe multi-modal freight system for Queensland's economy and communities, fostered through innovative solutions to existing and emerging freight and supply chain issues aligned with the Queensland Freight Strategy and Queensland Freight Action Plan. Some of your responsibilities will include: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with government agencies and freight industry stakeholders and engage regularly with these stakeholders to identify and provide advice on current and emerging freight and supply chain issues and challenges. Developing well researched advice, presentations and/or briefings on emerging freight issues and challenges to inform policy, planning and investment decision making. Reviewing and developing strategic freight options on priority issues in alignment with the Queensland Freight Strategy, the Queensland Freight Action Plan and the National Freight and Supply Chain Strategy and Action Plan.
