Materials Logistics Officer - Heavy Industry

Our client is after a Materials Logistics as they grow rapidly. You will be a key player in ensuring timely available of and access to materials needed by our engineers and build teams working on our product programs. You will do this by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including build and test, engineering, and project management, to drive effective and timely delivery. You will take accountability of the following areas:  Procurement and Expediting: o Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, ordering, and receiving materials. o Vendor Onboarding and tracking of onboarding process. o Expedite and track all materials required for the Project in a time critical manner. o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. o Ensure all shipping and transport documentation from suppliers are available to meet procurement guidelines.Warehousing and Logistics: o Raise TRF for urgent materials. o Ensure all materials tracked to delivery are physically receipted and provided a storage location.…
