GVC are providing recruitment support to Acacia Veterinary Surgery in Yeppoon that has been locally owned and run for over 20 years.
Nursing responsibilities:
• Surgical nursing, including the set up and shut down of theatre suite, monitoring anaesthetics and recovery of patients.
• Reception duties, demonstrating clear verbal and written communication with clients and appropriate organisation of appointment booking.
• General nursing duties, providing a high level of patient care.
• Be professional and punctual in the workplace.
• Ability to complete intravenous catheter placement, blood collections and laboratory work.
• Performing X-rays and assisting with CT scans.
• You're someone who works flexibly as there will be a need to work Saturdays.
What we’re looking for:
• Experienced Veterinary Nurse who can complement the current team of veterinary professionals.
• Ideally, 2/3 years’ experience working within a veterinary clinic.
• Understand the importance of providing exceptional care for our pet clients & their family!
• Building strong & meaningful relationships with both your colleagues & clients.
• Highly motivated with exceptional organisation skills.
• Most of all you are someone that enjoys working and being part of a team!
