Full Time Lift Mechanic
$93,600 p/a + Superannuation for the right candidate
SUMMARY
The position of Lift Mechanic is full-time and you will be responsible for ensuring all installation, maintenance, repair, breakdowns and upgrade works of elevator. You will complete the job with attention to detail & technical knowledge. The position requires experience in the lift industry and competence to install, maintain, service and repair electric and hydraulic passenger lifts, escalators, moving walkways and various lift systems.
Our Lift Mechanic must be enthusiastic, energetic and able to work independently, possessing excellent communication skills and be well presented at all times.
DUTIES
• Acknowledge customers' requests and rectify equipment as required.
• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing as specified for each particular installation.
• Attend breakdown calls and rectify any problem.
• Fill out appropriate paperwork for maintenance and/or breakdown tasks.
• Report any comprehensive repairs and shutdowns to manager.
• Report any incidents or accidents to manager.
• Safe and adequate care of all company tools and/or documentation provided.
• Install new lift systems to client’s requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant industry experience in installation, maintenance, service and repairs
• Enthusiasm and willingness to respond and attend to client calls for equipment repairs and assistance
