About Your Role
As Health, Safety and Environment Partner, the role is part of an effective and dynamic HSE business partnering team, supporting both Defence and our commercial customers at the Garden Island naval base in Sydney.

Key responsibilities include:
Coaching and mentoring our teams in embedding HSE as key operating discipline
Acting as a role model in demonstrating full support for all health, safety, and environmental programs
Supporting our leadership team providing specialist support and advice
Leading workplace inspections, risk assessments, investigations, audits and identifying hazards
Working with our teams to assure adherence to the HSE SMS across our operations and that teams are aligned in addressing their HSE risk
How About You?
Tertiary qualifications in WHS with a minimum of a Diploma of WHS, more advanced qualifications in Health, Safety or Environment would be highly regarded
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment roles as an active safety partner in a high-risk work environment.
Current and demonstrated knowledge of relevant HSE compliance and regulatory frameworks coupled with a passion for your profession
ICAM lead investigator Training Certification
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups
