How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Workplace Concierge, you’ll be a vital part of the Workplace team who are changing the way we deliver Workplace experience.

As the first point of contact for our Canberra office, you'll communicate our brand through creating an inclusive, welcoming environment and providing elevated and memorable experiences for clients, visitors, and employees. This role is based in our Canberra office 5 days a week.

Your role will include:

  • Anticipate client and visitor needs, provide prompt response to requests and take initiative by troubleshooting problems and finding solutions
  • Work with the Workplace Lead to coordinate events and activations through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and third-party suppliers
  • Provide prompt assistance to staff, clients, and visitors with practical requirements such as security passes, Wi-Fi access etc.
  • Look for ways to continuously broaden the offering to improve client and employee experience
  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders, external clients, and vendors to develop and maintain strong relationships with the view to model good experience delivery for the business
  • Liaise with NSW/ACT Workplace Team to manage H&S, Maintenance & Compliance activities locally in Canberra.
  • Support our Canberra Office lead with ad hoc administration to support the local team.
  • Lead our Social Committee with the planning and execution of events and activities.

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

As well as experience in a similar role. Specifically:

  • Proven experience in a people centric, client or customer service focused role
  • Prior experience or training in the catering or event management industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Ability to quickly learn digital collaboration tools and new systems
  • Basic understanding of AV, technology and workplace software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication  
  • Collaborative team player with the confidence to influence up, down and across the organisation
  • Personable and enthusiastic nature, genuine passion for providing an elevated service and ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment
  • Self-starter who is adaptable, resilient and thrives in a fast paced, exciting, people centric environment
