As they continue to expand their operations, there is a need for a skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to manage their Queensland and New Zealand Operations.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist who has extensive experience partnering with both blue and white collar client groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the industrial sector and will play a key role in supporting the workforce. This position requires a versatile HR professional who can handle a wide range of HR functions, provide expert guidance in a multi - site operation, and contribute to the overall success of the business regionally.
Responsibilities:

Consult with senior management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices specific to the logistics and transportation sector.
Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, and feedback to enhance employee performance and development.
Work proactively with business leaders to ensure the HR function supports the business to achieve goals and targets.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and the Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide sites.
Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and mediate disputes to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Manage the recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to ensure a talented and diverse workforce.
Collaborate senior leadership, analyse trends, and provide insights to improve HR processes and initiatives.
Take the lead on significant projects in the People space.

Requirements of the role:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience as a HR Generalist in the Industrial or Blue Collar environment.
Experience in ER, Fair Work Case management, and IR.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Effective engagement strategies and the ability to build influential relationships.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software tools.

You will have considerable experience within a similar role/environment, outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills. If you have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a proactive positive way, this role will appeal to you. Your ability to leverage support with senior managers from a technical background will be crucial as you ensure that communication is upheld with your site group and delivered to a high standard.
