Continuing, Full time (part time fraction may be considered)
Level C - $130,939 to $150,813 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

We are seeking a clinical academic with extensive undergraduate clinical and preclinical teaching experience within the Oral Health discipline. The appointee will be teaching using both didactic and clinical delivery methods relevant to Oral Health clinical practice. The appointee will play a significant role in providing academic leadership relevant to clinical oral health practice and contributing to the teaching and administration within the discipline. Additionally, the appointee will have the opportunity to progress an active research profile with a strategic research and innovation focus aligned to the overall strategies of the University. The appointee will have demonstrated experience in providing high quality care in private or public health dental practice settings, have a current and significant track record in research publication in a field relevant to Oral Health, and can demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain key professional relationships within the industry. The appointee may be able to provide clinical services in the Charles Sturt Oral Health and Dental Clinics upon negotiation with the Dean of Rural Dentistry and Oral Health and the Clinical Director. This position is required for face-to-face and online teaching and as such remote work options are not available. Generous assistance, including financial, is available to help you relocate to Wagga Wagga to take up this opportunity. To be successful you will have:
A doctoral qualification relevant to the discipline, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
Full registration as a Dentist or Oral Health Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Extensive understanding of the clinical practice of oral health therapy, supported by a significant record of high quality student centred teaching and clinical supervision in clinical dentistry and/or oral health.
Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership in an academic setting.
