About the role

Carpentaria has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. We have positions available in both Darwin and Alice Springs, with the opportunity to also be part of our remote clinical team and deliver Occupational Therapy services across remote communities in the Top End and Central Australia.

Responsibilities include:

Provide independent, specialist and clinical input into treatment planning, development and delivery of core business
Working collaboratively with families/caregivers to assess, plan, implement and review targeted and meaningful developmental therapy

You will have a positive attitude and be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of clients, NDIS and the organisation. Throughout your work you will build on strengths, and where challenges arise, you will approach them collaboratively, in partnership with families, carers, teachers and colleagues.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
Experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
