Bathers' Pavilion Bathers' Pavilion is Sydney's most iconic beachside restaurant, located at Balmoral Beach just 20 minutes from the city. At Bathers' we operate with a fine dining hatted Restaurant, busy upmarket Bistro, Thai Restaurant, Function Room, takeaway Kiosk and Art Gallery. We are looking for passionate, reliable and enthusiastic fulltime chefs at all levels for all kitchens including the pastry kitchen which is an integral part of the business. Full time salary - $70,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation Task & Responsibilities - Prepare all food items in accordance with standard recipes - Assist with the ordering of goods for your sections as and when required - Actively pursue cost saving measures by minimising wastage and recycling where possible - Keep the kitchen outlet clean and always maintain a high standard of hygiene - Prepare and cook food in a timely manner - Ensure appealing plate presentation - Supervise chefs and assist as needed - Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items - Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients - Maintaining kitchen equipment to the highest of safety and hygiene standards - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area - High level execution of dessert production an advantage Qualification & Experience - Trade qualifications and 2 years relevant work experience - Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills Must have full working rights for Australia.
