Your new company
This high-profile Federal Government Department responsible for connecting Australian communities, underpinning the economy and society and empowering regions is seeking 2-3 x APS5 and APS6 Policy Officers to join one of their branches that considers broadband policy, including longer-term broadband objectives. These positions have become available due to an increase in the workload.

Your new role
There are two sections in the branch seeking APS5 and APS6 Policy Officers. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, working with the branch and key stakeholders regarding core policies and processes. This will include analysing and discussing different processes currently in place, writing advice for the Minister's office and senior Executive, coordination with stakeholders and drafting input for internal products.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these positions, you will have previous experience in a similar position and the Federal Government. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed stakeholder management skills, high attention to detail, outcomes-driven, proactive and adaptable.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
