The company strives every day to make their customers’ builds faster, simpler, and safer. They design and manufacture all of their products independently in their Australian factory. In particular, the company is known for its production of its high-quality ‘Fast Tread’ stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems, which now feature in over 1,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally.

Job Description:
The company is looking for a full-time experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team in Goulburn NSW. As a sheet metal worker, you will be working as part of a team on the workshop floor, and you’ll be marking, cutting, shaping, forming, and joining sheet metal, manufacturing flashings to specifications, fabricating other metal products etc.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Read and interpret drawings to determine project requirements and materials.
Working with materials such as stainless steel, steel, zinc, aluminium, gall and pipework.
Marking out metal sheets.
Operate sheet metal related plant and equipment such as guillotines, folders, rolling machines.
Operating laser cutter and other metal drills to cut metal stock to template/guidelines.
· Use of various machine tools and hand tools used in the manufacturing process.

· Collaborating with a dedicated team to achieve production targets and maintain efficiency.

· Finishing components into final products with spot/MIG welding, and other methods of joining, etc.

· Ensuring OH&S regulations are complied with at all times.

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

Completed trade certificate or have 3+ years of relevant experience.
Relevant products and industry knowledge.
Previous experience with AMADA sheet metal fabrication machines is advantageous, not not required.
Desirable, but not essential, to have experience operating a CNC press brake.
· Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbally.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Strong safety focused work ethic.

· Reliable and honest.
